four staff shower

I am interested in talking to french staff people about the four staff flat shower(rubber heart style with the spinning pass) has anyone got it clean yet,if so how many catches?and do you have it on video?,
i am working on it now but have not tried it at night yet,

I'm working on the 4 staves shower for 5/6 month, it's difficult cause you need a special place with huge seiling, or outside but no wind at all and special light and so on ...

it works better with light and short sticks = Rotin 1M very thin. I've made 4 fire rotin sticks and allready try with fire; it's absolutly amazing to feel.

I'm trying to do side swap but it takes more time and works than simple shower, I'm kind of lazy if you whant, but I like to feel things rather to think about it. And I don't like N°4. So I allready make 5 short sticks to play shower with... I'm aiming the thing I know I can do one day, not further.

With 4 training sticks (no fire), I made 7 throws and no drop. That's my best performence. With fire :only 4 throws and no drop. I made a vidéo of it with Antti passing in mountains and waterfalls country side of France (I'm still waiting for the footage so I can post the video as son as possible).

Stephan is doing already Sideswap (consciously) with 3 staves, thanx to Antti also. I guest 4 staves sideswap is possible with very short sticks (90cm) but I don't think one can do it clean and confortable; and even after years of training, it might look like a robotic trix, I don't know... I feel like a clean shower of 5 fire sticks sounds better to look and to feel, for me, and for the audience.

as always i think something is lost in translation,but like you i also like to feel rather than think tricks into creation.........gatto has made a video saying why he doesnt like siteswaps("tricks come from the heart"he say's) and although i dont hate site swaps i think we should be careful of how much they control our creativity

i think to go for the five staff shower before the four staff shower is crazy

as for me i have worked very hard to clean up my three staff shower including very small fast and three ups back into small shower

i have played around with four staffs and got maybe five or six catches unlit................so far i have never tried it at night.i plan to spend winter training on four staff and would hope to add it as a eight catch run to my routine for next summer although this will be a lot of work,

i found with the three staff shower that the really hard bit is getting the snake catch and sweeping pass clean,
im sure with four it be the same
