I don´t have the slightest ambition to offend anyone, but... there are these voices in my head...
and in your special case, my dear imako, you should be aware that it is all your own fault!
http://www.firedancer.de/zbcms/content_download/misk/paralell.WMV
this move also doesn´t need fingerspins, nor any spinning at all.
@olive: otherwise, it´s quite popular to post without login...

@yuta: don´t be shy!
so what´s this threat about? mainly about the possibilities of antispin with staffs, in my opinion.
my first practrical results can be seen on:
www.feuershow.de
click at "tutorials"
click at "stab/staff/2staffs"
click at "kontakt/contact"
watch the last 8 videos in that section (we will make a new section for antispin soon...)
have fun,
gé

DAAAAMN! I'm so happy to see that !! you have found greeat tricks!!!
Congratulation !!! and thanx for the vidéos !!!
by the way, I think the topic is about anti-spin but not only for staffs
so you can post your ideas on poi, or contact balls or what ever (actualy it is forum about fire spinning but anyway, fire contact balls exists!! I saw some of them once).
Anyone who can understand a bit of english from all over the world is welcome (and the others also why not there are good links and good draws, animation and so on)
@Yuta don't be shy, most people here in this forum love your spinning

sorry, this is off-topic (´cause it´s spin not antispin), but I like it :
the figur comes by spinning a staff on a pentagon (5bt pinwheel f.e.)

isolation and anti-spin is KICK ASS! That is the coolest thing I have possibly seen since seeing your last animation. :p
Plus the triangle anti-spin is also awesome.
anti-spin 1bt with doubles, the line the staff points make in yours is a vertical line, it can also be horizontal, (as I do it) or diagonal or whatever. (Or a circle? Or an anti-spin circle?)
I did come here to ask a question though, can somebody give me a link to Olive's translations video? And the three + staff one?
Plus, ge: Where are you non-tutorial spinning videos? Eh Eh?

thanks for your feedback! can´t wait for the next camera-session!
@mcp: [sarcasm] non-tutorial vids? isnt´t it necessary to have fun by playing and these things like dancing, acting and so on? don´t know how to do it... [/sarcasm]
1b antispin on a circle ? great idea!!! I tried to make a flower with the isolated butterfly. people allways say itisn´t possible to do a hyperloop with double-staff, but I´m sure my brain-convolutions did one
@imakokode: u´re right! some antispinning for poi:
-buzzsaw-fountain in antispin
-antispin-flowers with turns, like nick does them (2bt at each side makes a 4 petal-flower)
-while playing a butterfly as a fountain one head goes spin, and the other does antispin
-butterfly-flower in antispin
-I call it interspin: arms waving like on a bf-flower on the wheelplane, while the poi go like a butterfly on the wallplane
-try to spin a flower with the hand travelling not on a circle but an eight (not a figur of 8 ) one circle of the 8 will be in spin and the other in antispin
@olive: thanks for your hints on fingerspinning, they start to work (damn left hand )
